Step by step to the home gym

Who is it worth it for?

Does a home gym fit my individual goals? And does such a purchase even make sense?

What does the basic equipment look like?

What is the foundation of a home gym and where is the best place to start?

What additional equipment do I really need?

There are tons of equipment and accessories - we have tested and show you what makes sense and where you should better keep your hands off.

What costs should I expect?

Of course, what your home gym looks like depends on your goals - but also on your wallet. We have put together different models for your orientation.

For anyone who wants to save time.

Be it the travel time to the studio, the opening times or waiting at the next machine. With the home gym you become independent.

For anyone who wants to save money in the long term. You can find more about this at:

"What costs do I have to reckon with?"

For everyone who wants to achieve their goals. Be it building muscle, losing weight, endurance or simply maintaining a certain level of fitness.

Who is it worth it for?

A home gym offers you a playing field for your individual development. That was also the deciding factor for us in our decision to do so. In the gym there is a lot that we don't use and therefore all the more equipment that we personally lack. Now we've let off steam and, step by step, have tailored a home gym that suits our goals.

For example, our home gym looks very different from that of our friend Markus, who has designed his holy halls for powerlifting. The success of the German champions speaks for itself and shows that you don't have to accept any losses.

Since we are both very busy at work, a workout between appointments or even at 11 p.m. should not be a problem - the annoying travel time to the gym is also eliminated. This gives us more time and we can fit in a sports session even on busy days.
